Ewell Village
Ewell's historic village centre is a pleasant surprise for visitors. The High Street has old buildings, pubs and independent shops, and nearby Bourne Hall, the unusual round building beside the lake, houses the library and local museum. The Hogsmill river begins at springs in Ewell and flows north through Old Malden and Tolworth to the Thames.
Two stations
Ewell has two stations. Ewell West, on the line to Waterloo via Worcester Park and Wimbledon, is closer to the village. Ewell East, on the line to Victoria and London Bridge, is on the other side of the town near Nonsuch Park. Depending on your destination, one or the other may suit you better, and we can take you to either.
Nonsuch Park

The Ewell bypass and traffic
The Ewell bypass takes most through traffic away from the village centre, but the junctions at each end can be slow at rush hour, and race days at Epsom bring extra traffic through the area. We allow for this when planning pickups for flights and trains.

Early flights from Ewell
Ewell is one of the best places in our area for an early flight from Gatwick. For a 6am departure, a pickup at around 3.30am usually leaves plenty of time for bag drop, with the car travelling through Banstead and Reigate while the roads are empty. For Heathrow, the route runs back up the A240 to the A3, so allow around 40 to 50 minutes. Tell us your flight time and terminal and we will suggest a pickup time.
