Booking a Tolworth to Gatwick taxi saves a surprisingly awkward journey. There is no direct train from Tolworth to Gatwick. By rail you would normally change at least once, usually at Wimbledon or Clapham Junction, and then carry your luggage onto a busy airport train. By car it is a single journey of under an hour, door to terminal.
How we get to Gatwick
There are two sensible routes, and the driver will choose based on the traffic when you set off.
The motorway route takes the A3 south to junction 10 of the M25, then runs east along the M25 to junction 7 and down the M23 to the airport. It is longer in miles but quick when the M25 is flowing.
The direct route heads east along the A240 through Ewell, then south through Banstead and Reigate to join the M25 at junction 8 and the M23 from there. It is shorter, and often better when the M25 near Leatherhead is jammed.

North Terminal or South Terminal?
Gatwick has two terminals, North and South, linked by a free shuttle train that takes a couple of minutes. Your airline and flight number decide which one you need, and some airlines use both. Please tell us your terminal and flight number when you book, so the driver goes straight to the right drop-off area.
Summer holidays and early departures
Gatwick is the airport most local families use for summer holidays in Europe, and many of those flights leave very early. A 6am departure means being at the terminal by about 4am, which means leaving Tolworth by about 3.15am. We run 24 hours a day, so that is not unusual for us. Book in good time for the first weekend of the school holidays, as that is one of our busiest days of the year.
