New Malden's High Street
The High Street is the centre of New Malden, with supermarkets, banks, cafes and a wide range of restaurants. New Malden is known for its large Korean community, one of the biggest in Europe, and Korean restaurants and shops are a big part of the High Street's character. On weekend evenings the restaurants are busy, and we often take groups home after dinner.
New Malden station
New Malden station sits at the top of the High Street, on the main line to Waterloo via Wimbledon. It is served by stopping trains, so it is quick into London but not as fast as Surbiton. For early flights, heavy luggage and late returns, a car is often the better choice.
Coombe and the north of the area
North of the High Street, towards Coombe and Kingston Hill, the roads are quieter, with larger houses and private estates. Some of these roads have gates or unclear house numbering. Please give us a house name or directions when you book, so the driver can find you quickly.

Shannon Corner and the Fountain roundabout
Two junctions shape most journeys in New Malden. Shannon Corner, where the A3 meets Burlington Road, has retail parks and big stores, and we often collect shoppers there with bulky purchases. The Fountain roundabout, at the southern end of the High Street, links the town with Old Malden and Worcester Park. Both can queue badly at rush hour and on Saturday afternoons. When you book a pickup from a store or car park, tell us which entrance you will wait at, so the driver does not have to go round the car park looking for you. If you have bought something large, such as flat-pack furniture, mention it so we can send an estate or MPV with enough room.
