Trains from Charing Cross
Charing Cross is the London terminal for Southeastern trains to Kent and East Sussex, including Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Hastings, Ashford and the Kent coast. From Tolworth there is no simple rail link, so most people would otherwise take a train to Waterloo and walk across Hungerford Bridge with their bags.
Getting there from Tolworth
The drive runs north on the A3, then towards Vauxhall, crossing the river and running along Millbank past the Houses of Parliament before turning up Whitehall to Trafalgar Square. Central London traffic, protests and events around Westminster can affect the final part of the route, and the driver will adjust as needed.

Theatre trips and evenings out
Most West End theatres are within a short walk of Charing Cross, as are the National Gallery and the National Portrait Gallery. For a show, we can drop you close to the theatre and collect you afterwards at a time you choose. Being collected rather than catching a late train means you can stay for a drink after the performance without watching the clock.

Streets around Trafalgar Square and the Strand are busy after shows, and stopping is restricted in many places. If you are catching a train to visit family in Kent or East Sussex, a car to Charing Cross makes sense with luggage or presents. For some trips, a car all the way may be simpler. Ask us for a price if your final destination is not far beyond the station.
A landmark at the front door
The tall Victorian stone cross in the station forecourt is a replica of one of the medieval Eleanor crosses. It is easy to spot, which makes it a handy reference point when agreeing where to meet your driver.
